Made from Tetrabutyl ammonium bromide by electrolysis. Easy to form crystalline hydrate solid at low temperature.

• Tetrabutyl ammonium hydroxide as Catalysts in the electrochemical synthesis of Adiponitrile; Catalysts in the polymerization of silicone rubber and other silicone products; As phase transfer catalysts in organic synthesis chemistry.
• TBAH aqueous solution as Molecular sieve template.
• Tetrabutyl ammonium hydroxide in water as Adjusting agents in surfactant products.
• TBAH as Cleaning agents for the electronic industry (such as chip cleaning agents).
