Benzyl trimethyl ammonium hydroxide 25% in water CAS No. 100-85-6, BTMAOH, BTMAH, belongs to Quaternary ammonium hydroxide, a strong organic alkali with a molecular structure similar to ammonium hydroxide, but stronger in alkalinity than sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide. Made from Benzyl trimethyl ammonium chloride via electrolysis.
Solvent also can be customized to Methanol, as Benzyl trimethyl ammonium hydroxide 25% or 40% in Methanol solution. Methanol solution is made from Benzyl trimethyl ammonium chloride via organic synthesis.
