Applications:
• Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide can be used as the bactericidal agent to prepare mouthwash, disinfectant, intestinal grape absorption inhibitor, and micelle solubilization spectrophotometry reagent.
• Hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide can also used as emulsifier for natural, synthetic rubber, silicone oil, and asphalt.
• CTAB can be used as the fungicide, softener, emulsifier, and antistatic agent in cosmetics.
• Used as phase transfer catalysts for Aromatic Reduction and Olefin Epoxidation.
